My method of teaching will involve first getting to know what the student is currently learning. Based on that I will gather all the information I have on topics of interest to the student and present everything I know to the student in an easygoing and hopefully, fun, manner! I may quiz you on topics just to be sure you are retaining information and I may have you do writing on what you have learned. I will want to see your homework and assignments and make sure that you are completing them accurately. I can help you edit your essays.

I will build your knowledge about the basics of Psychology from Freud, to Skinner, to Maslow, Jung, Erikson, and Piaget, to Psychoanalysis and Humanism and Attachment Theory and Psychodynamic Theory, as well as more current concepts such as Positive Psychology.

We can use the internet as well as your text to find information. We will discuss topics to gauge your understanding.

But most importantly, I want to get to know you as the student, your goals and your passions, and what you hope to learn from studying Psychology. I want to get you excited about Psychology because the main goal of this subject is to be able to help people thrive, flourish, and fulfill their potential.
