Angela Paupério

I am a native Portuguese speaker from Portugal, and I have always loved languages and teaching. I studied Portuguese in Portugal until I was 16, then moved to the UK, where I am now studying Biomedical Systems Engineering at the University of Warwick. I also graduated from the IB program, where I took English Language and Literature and Italian ab initio, so I understand what it is like to learn a new language from scratch.

My lessons are dynamic and tailored to each student's individual needs. For beginners, I focus on building a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation while ensuring the content is engaging and practical. For conversation practice, I create a relaxed environment where students can build confidence, work on fluency, and refine their accents.

We can use any meeting platform you are comfortable with, like Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Google Meet, and I am happy to arrange multiple lessons per week if that works better for you.

Having worked part-time at a nursery, I am skilled in teaching all ages with patience and creativity. Outside teaching, I enjoy reading and playing the harp (I passed my Grade 8 last year!). I would love to help you reach your language goals.

- Beginner Lessons (30-60 minutes): These are personalized to suit each student’s learning pace and goals.
- Conversation Practice (30 minutes, all levels): Focused on improving pronunciation, with optional vocabulary and grammar review as needed. These lessons are also customized to match each student’s conversational level.
