I love to learn new things! I encourage students to not be afraid of new things but to see learning as a wonderful adventure into a “new space “.

Being able to communicate proficiently in a language builds confidence in self expression as well as having the courage to venture onto new topics and subjects.

With homeschooling being an alternative way to education, I am not too concerned about grades and testing but what matters is a growing enjoyment of a subject and the development of an inquiring mind. I am a keen supporter of an unhurried, eclectic approach to homeschooling which gives a child the time and opportunity to explore areas of interest and really take time to understand a concept without the pressure of having to “move on” too quickly.

Asking questions is good!! That means a student is ready to understand more and it will be my pleasure to lead them on their quest for understanding and development of new skills.

I have over 20 years in education and training and homeschool my own two boys. I also help other homeschooling parents to gain more confidence to homeschool their children. Sometimes, there’s a subject or two where we need some extra help. That’s when having a passionate and competent tutor available makes all the difference!

As a homeschool consultant and tutor, I’m here to offer my help to parents and hopefully share my passion for English, Math and learning in general with your child.
