I have previously worked as a teaching assistant in schools based around oxfordshire. I am currently training to be a primary school teacher and doing a BA Education Studies degree. I have certificates of training in Child psychology, health and social care, counselling. Upon taking my GCSES I recieved grades above 5 in 11 subjects, including 7s in English language and business studies.
I teach by using a varied amount of resources such as posters, PowerPoint, videos. The lesson plans will follow a specific structure that will guide your child through their assigned curriculum. I will assign each child tasks to work on in lessons and tasks to extend their knowledge outside of lessons. These will not be time consuming as i understand the importance of a balanced life for a child.
My experience with working with children as young as two and my training in education and health and social care has given me a grand understanding of how children learn best and how as teachers our lessons shape their futures.
I am currently offering tutoring for children up to GCSES level in Maths, science and English. The lessons will follow the UK national curriculum for KS1, KS2 and GCSES. There will be assignments and assessments to keep track of your child's learning and to understand what improvements could be made.
