My lessons are interactive, with student focused tuition developing content and pace that suits the individual student's needs. I am a popular tutor with awards from my teaching at Loughborough University. I have been Programme Director for the flagship Mechanical Engineering degrees at Loughborough University and University of Chester, developing modules in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, applied thermodynamics, energy systems, turbomachinery and mechatronics. I have lots of real world examples to support the lessons, lots of practice questions and examples as well as complete courses from which I can draw materials. I have been working with industry throughout my academic career, and from 2021 have been working in energy systems research within industry. My interest in tutoring is to maintain my link to teaching and supporting future scientists and engineers.
