Andy Butler

I have been teaching for over 20 years and I have a BA in German and French as well as a TEFL qualification. I have taught English as a foreign language, French and German in many different institutions over the years from primary education to secondary up to higher education.
I like my lessons to be engaging, interactive and above all to be fun so that the learner gets the most out of each session. My passion for teaching is paramount and this comes across in my lessons. I enjoy passing my knowledge of languages on to others and seeing students progress gives me real satisfaction. I have also taught many qualifications over the years from GSCE to A-level, Functional skills and IELTS to name but a few. I have also taught English abroad and this has really helped me to understand different learners and cultures. I have always got good results and have been commended on this in the past.
I will always cater for the learners needs and like to incorporate the 4 skills of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing into my lessons as well as focusing on grammar and vocabulary topics as well.
Away from teaching I enjoy running, playing tennis and going to the gym.
