Andrew in a nutshell
Physics can seem very abstract and it's important to show students that physics is all around them enabling many of the things they take for granted. I try to connect the subjects with this in the students lives and what's going on around them.

I can help with GCSE's or 'A' level exam preparation and classes.
I offer a free first session to get to know the student, check their knowledge and plan how we're going to work together.

I focus on what they need and any areas they are finding difficult, always remembering to check they know a topic as well as they think they do. This is important since much of physics is built on top of exisiting knowledge, so without a solid foundation the student will struggle later on.

We will discuss things they're working on in class, revising for exams or feel they need help with. We can work through problems in their text books or additional similar problems I can provide.

I aim to make sessions as valuable as possible, so the more I know about what the student needs or they're working on before meeting makes a huge difference.
Tutoring sessions can cover whatever the student has done in recent classes, so we can create a plan to cover specific areas in the lead up to exams - mocks or finals.

I have a life long love of science, and want to pass at least some of that to the students. Phsyics doesn't have to be difficult or intimidating, it can be a fun and interesting subject to study. And once students understand some of it, they start seeing it all around them.
