I prefer to work in a 1-2-1 environment, or with smaller groups.
Understanding the problems faced and the learning needs of each student is important to me as it is often very different from person to person.
My coaching style is not to repeat verbatim from text books - I use examples from the industries or brands which people can relate to and help lead students to conclusions of their own.

My experience is over 25 years in small organisations as well as FTSE-listed companies operating in the UK and EMEA. I happily work with self employed and students as long as their is a genuine interest and desire to grow/learn/improve.
Throughout my time in the corporate environment I employed and mentored many people - often straight from University or secondary education. I always found this very rewarding to see how people grew in their knowledge and their understanding.

Being self-employed, I am able to be more selective with some of the organisations I work with - preferring those with shared values and mindset. More recently, I have coached someone in a very niche industry to better understand the services he offered and how his clients would find and buy his services. In short, we defined his true value.

In group or corporate scenarios, I use my coaching experience to ensure all attendees have a voice and ensure I dedicate the right amount of time to every person to ensure engagement as well as understanding.

I do have experience with working with remote teams in The Netherlands, Spain and Dubai - however the language spoken was always English.
