As an individual I’m very direct and I’d like to think that my tutoring is the same. Lessons will be about understanding and breaking down problems into simpler parts. Through this the content usually is easier to digest and we will personalise these questions so they are more relatable and easier to understand. Once each question has a format to tackle it we will work through practice questions to make sure that the information has been consolidated. If breaks are needed to ensure that information is being retained adequately than we will take them at a fixed interval depending on what works best for the individual. If not then I find that working in 20-25 minute intervals while having a short 5-10 minute break in between seems to work for many kids.
