Your lessons with me will first and foremost be based on the English that is already in you and the learning goals you wish to achieve. Naturally and organically, I will then build upon this with you which will lead to significant improvements in your proficiency in a relatively short time. I am an intuitive linguist and will very quickly recognise the areas to work on.

While your lessons with me are going to be focussed, they will also be fun as the combination of language + humour is deeply embedded in me. My hobbies are news, current affairs and dog-fostering, so we will never run out of topics for natural conversation, especially about the things that are of interest to you!

I am a passionate and engaging “Business English” teacher, translator and highly motivated, all-round intuitive linguist with both German and English education and training, as well as a corresponding bi-cultural imprint. I have 12 years of teaching experience within these two language dimensions in language schools, dynamic in-house business environments and private clients’ residences, whereby “Business English” featured most prominently. However, altogether my bilingual language proficiency grew in some capacity or other over 35 years in numerous fields, such as assignments to do with translation, interpreting, copy-writing, advanced communications skills training and cross-cultural awareness workshops.
