Andrew Burnstein

I have over two years of experience tutoring humanities and social studies subjects, and have just finished my Master's in International Development at the University of Edinburgh. I will not only work with you to develop strong study habits and to review foundational concepts that are often glossed over in the rush of the school year, but I will also do what I can to help you find the angle that helps you connect with the subject you're struggling with. I will generally expect you to come to sessions with assignments or concepts in mind; I can help you with specific assignments, or I can review key content with you to make sure you fully understand it, and fill in gaps when necessary. I will encourage you to take responsibility for your work without blaming you for your struggles, because I understand how flawed the current schooling system is. Together, we can make sure you're successful in school and love what you study.
