The format for lessons I most enjoy is live feedback and paint overs, where the student can watch me give them feedback on their work in real time. I can demo possibilities in 2D and 3D digital mediums, and show exactly what's missing to take work to the next level. Students have remarked on my extremely rigorous approach to teaching, from high school level to professional, because I spend the time to analyse every facet of the work. My paint-overs can last hours sometimes, as I go into great detail to show precisely how to improve a work. Where a student doesn't provide paintings, but wants advice on going about designing or beginning an image, I can provide guidance at every stage of the process; through ideation, iteration, sketching (traditional or digital) with loads of examples and references coming from my years of experience as a professional designer.
