Andrej Durian

My name is Andrej, and I am a big history and language fan!
I am a history graduate and a Masters student, and I want to help others achieve what I have so far.
It doesn't matter what history topic you are studying, whether at the high school level or at the university level, I am here to help you with whatever your needs might be.

My main focus, however, is to help you with:
A. Expand your knowledge about a topic you are currently studying.
B. Help you write your assignments more effectively and efficiently.

In my lessons, I like to adapt to my students' needs. I hear what they need and prepare accordingly.
I like to put in some extra work to make our sessions fun; therefore, expect some jokes on the account of history from me!

When starting a session with somebody new, I start the lesson by finding out what the student already knows.
Afterwards, we move on to exploring new information with a focus on coherence. Good lesson coherence is important for me, as it makes the topic easier to understand and remember.
Towards the end of the lesson, I tend to do a revision and suggest further reading and perhaps ideas we could discuss in our next lesson.

For me, another important aspect of tutoring is doing additional work in the student's free time. This is not necessary; however, revising the study materials often proves to be one of the most efficient learning methods.
