Hello everyone!
My name is Andy and I have been teaching and tutoring foreign languages for a couple of years now. I have taught English, Russian, and Hungarian before but my main focus is on the Korean language.
I work with students of all levels, from absolute beginners to more advanced enthusiasts. I like to plan out the learning process together with my students, so they can be sure they get what they are expecting from our classes: we can focus on general skills such as writing or speaking, study more grammar, can dig into culture, learn K-pop songs together, prepare for TOPIK, or discuss university admission process in Korea.
A little bit about me:
Though I am not a native Korean speaker, I do have a Master's degree in Teaching Korean as Foreign Language (Konkuk University), recently earned a Ph.D. candidacy in English-Korean Translation Studies (Dongguk University), and passed TOPIK level 6 several times. I lived in Seoul for 6 years, worked as a Korean translator for companies such as Samsung and Korea Telecom.
