I graduated from the Moscow International Academy with a major in Linguistics and from the University of People with Master's in Education degree. Moreover, I attained my QTS from my home country and CELTA. As long as I have been learning, sharing my knowledge has provided me with immense satisfaction. For me, seeing how students improve is incredibly rewarding and fulfilling. As a result, I decided to become a teacher.
I started my career as a Teaching Assistant with the responsibilities of ESL and RFL teacher. Due to my performance, I was entrusted to plan and deliver lessons in case of teacher's absence. For the future professional development and my career, I joined The International School of Moscow. During my time in ISM, I got extra responsibilities of an EAL teacher and Playground Coordinator. As a part of my professional duties I:
• Adjusted teachers' planning to meet EAL needs;
• Was in charge of the playground and organising interhouse competition;
• Planned and delivered lessons in teachers' absence
As well as I obtained my qualified teacher status from my country. Later I joined The British Lyceum Moscow as a Primary class teacher. Due to the fact that the school was brand new, there were a lot of opportunities for integrating new ideas. I supported the school with the development of language support and preparation to IGCSE ESL exam.
Currently, I am a primary teacher at the Myanmar International School Yangon (Mandalay). As it is my first overseas job, I am excited about the opportunity to work with an enthusiastic team. I have supported the school with the development of the EAL department.
