In my lessons, a lot of time is spent on practice questions and going through the different styles of questions that could come up in exams. I like to teach my students by going through examples rather than spending hours on worthless theory. I always encourage my students to ask as many questions as possible and stop me at any point if they require further explanations and help. I am a very direct person and so I expect my students to be direct too! Furthermore, I always ask my students to get involved in the way the lessons are carried out as well. I ask for their feedback on how the lessons went and based on the feedback I try to shape my teaching to fill their needs. Also, after each lesson, I usually set weekly homework to my students so that we can reinforce what had been taught during the session. I expect my students to give the homework a go and try to complete it to the best of their ability.
