My teaching focuses on learner outcomes. I first try to understand the existing knowledge, background, potentials, and weaknesses of a student so I know where to adjust my teaching techniques and be able to present topics in a format the student is most comfortable with (e.g. based on multiple intelligences), increasing the likelihood of recall and retention.
