I have always loved mathematics and I have always excelled in it so as a result when I started my GCSes, I started tutoring younger students and students my age who didn't really understand the subject for free. And I realised I enjoy teaching and they understood what i taught so I did it more often. I volunteered to help my tuition teacher on weekends and during summer and I always tutored some of the kids at my old tuition for free until recently when he shut down the place so now I am looking for new students to tutor and help through their studies.
The lessons will be 90 mins long and I aim to get students ahead of their current syllabus so they do not struggle in school as they are up to date with whatever they are learning since mathematics can be quite tricky if you fall behind.
I will be working through the textbooks of the students class and setting homework for them to do and reflect on what they have learnt and what we need to do more work on.
Then after a set discussed month perhaps at the end of each month I will make a test on the content that we have covered so I can know where any student might have any knowledge gaps and perhaps whether I need to find a different way to teach the specific topic in order for them to grasp it better and as a result all students use my help to the best of their ability as I can help them in what they actually need help with rather than being unnecessarily repetitive.
