I offer a mixed learning approach, but not as complex as to confuse students. I would make presentations, answer their questions about the material, and clarify and solve problems on a whiteboard. The resources for the lessons would come from their curriculum, my notes, and online books and materials I find useful for the subject at hand. I am currently a Bachelor's student in applied mathematics, making my knowledge of math the strongest. However, I also possess a C2 certificate in English and scored a 7 in the subject on my IB diploma. I would aid students in expanding their grammar and reading comprehension, along with working on books assigned for mandatory reading. Furthermore, as I get to know the student, the lessons will be adjusted to their needs and goals for selected subjects. Having been a high-school student not too long ago, I would also share my tips for studying and following the subjects, that would allow students to perform better. I enjoy teaching and working with kids (or young adults) and have experience doing so. I consider myself patient, encouraging, and professional when it comes to teaching and I want to create a safe and reassuring space for students to feel free to ask questions, make mistakes, and understand that there will always be space for improvement. The teaching principles and approach I take are based on the approach my favorite teachers and professors took since I believe that the quality of knowledge students retain is a reflection of how well the teacher presented the material, and how they structured the learning space.
