I highly recommend Andrea. She uses an excellent workbook with on line tutorials and exercises, combined with notes made as the lesson progresses and the whole lesson is recorded for revision. She is able to set the pace to suit my abilities and makes every lesson really enjoyable. I particularly like the way she includes German culture in lessons and the way that this influences the structure of the language and phrases. I was resistant to on line learning, having attended group classes previously but the way Andrea tailors each lesson to individual needs has converted me.

Andrea is an amazing Tutor. Every class is recorded and she would provide you with notes she captures during the class. More importantly, she is quite flexible in terms of topics coverage where you might want some extra practice on. She also identifies your weakness and brings in extra exercises tailored for your improvement. I would totally recommend her for a 1:1 session for building a strong base starting in German.

Andrea is an excellent German Language Teacher. I was looking for an experienced Tutor who can work with a complete novice, myself, who had no prior knowledge of the German language. Before my first lesson, Andrea spoke with me about my reasons for learning German, the level I wanted to reach, the approach she took on training and recommended reading. I have a lesson each week of one hour. The session starts as a conversation to practice listening and speaking in German. This involves discussing activities whether they are relating to home life or work; both being very relevant in conversational dialogues. Following this there is a review of the homework from the previous week, and then moving onto the next section in the A1+ course book. When something is unclear, she takes the time to explain, including the cultural considerations between English and German. If you are looking for a German Tutor, then I would recommend Andrea. Andrea is a very good teacher with effective methods of fostering learning and engaging the language student. Very importantly, she is personable and easy to get along with in our one-on-one sessions. Her price is also very reasonable compared to other options. I am an American ex-pat now living in Germany. I came here with 0 knowledge of the German language, but since Andrea became my teacher I have made great progress towards communicating with others daily, exploring German culture, and passing the necessary language tests required for immigration.
