I am a German and Italian teacher with a wide international experience. I worked at university as a lecturer for 7 years and since 2018 I have been a professional German, Italian and Hebrew teacher at all levels.
Furthermore, I am a GCSE & A level Expert. For three years, I’ve been preparing pupils for the most important GCSE (National 5)/A-Level (Higher) boards, as AQA, EDEXCEL, SQA etc.
Moreover, I’ve been working with professionals to reach their goals, for further qualifications or just for passion. I can be quite flexible with my schedule too; therefore, I can accommodate (almost!) every need of the busiest employees!
As each person learns in their own way, I provide tailored lesson plans to meet individual wishes. I work at my student's own pace, as I don’t have a fixed and rigid method to achieve knowledge (because it does not exist!).
The first lesson normally is a quick assessment of the state of the art. Through chatting and reading a short text, I can easily infer the level we start from. This process is very useful because it allows me to draft a learning plan, setting some *milestones* my students can/will achieve (which will be reviewed regularly). This is especially important for GCSE/A-Level pupils.
Setting goals encourages and motivates, and work as a stimulus to do learn in a very cost-effective and productive way. Of course, I do provide my students with regular feedback, and I am with them in every step of their learning journey. I set homework and I mark what my students email to me.
Normally, I split a lesson into three parts, designed to complement each other:
1) speaking and listening;
2) grammar;
3) reading.
