This is Andrea Belart,
I have a degree in English Philology and a Master's degree with an emphasis on Teacher Training in Obligatory Secondary and Upper Secondary School Education, Vocational Training and Languages. I have had 7-years of experience teaching English at 3 different schools and during 10 years I have been a freelance English teacher of teenagers as well. This year I have been part of coordination by setting up of a new teaching methodology implemented at one of the schools in which students were not taught based on a book but through other techniques. I have also had the chance to live and study abroad in Ireland and in UK for 2 years which has provided me with the chance to experience new ways of learning.
I became an English teacher in order to make a difference and change the negative connotation attached to learning. I have no doubt that learning can be fun and effective if you have appropriate instruction. I feel so lucky to have been part of many students’ academic and personal development. I try to show them that getting “it” wrong can actually turn out to be their greatest success and I always always intend to inspire teenagers and make them believe they can achieve any goal they aim for.
This year, I planning to move to UK to pause my routine in Spain and live a different experience in order to grow up personally and professionally.
