My first focus is on developing good learning strategies and skills with my students. I fins that the best way to do that is to nudge them gently and patiently towards finding answers rather then just giving it to them. I am always developing new and exciting methods to teach complicated concepts. I like to have a flexible structure of the lesson, focusing on the student's needs (both signaled by them and noticed by me) and constantly engage with my student's passions and interests. My philosophy is that I am not teaching you but that we are learning and developing together! I have patience for as many mistakes as you need to make in order for you to find the right way of understanding a concept. I am here first and foremost to support you though your learning journey and I will allow you as much control over your lessons as we can afford. I am here to guide, not command! I hope to inspire my students not only to understand subjects that seemed difficult to them before, but to actually grow to like them.
