I taught myself guitar. During those years, I faced a lot of challenges. I wondered if I'd ever be good enough. I thought I'd always be stuck at the level I was at and never make any progress. And worst of all, I worried I was kidding myself into thinking I was good.

I'm here so you don't have to face challenges like that alone. I'm here to give you the support and encouragement you need to make the music that's in your soul - and to feel good about it all on the difficult days!

In 2009, I started teaching guitar to kids and adults.

My lessons have always been student-led. They've always been structured around the specific needs of the student.

For me, it's all about listening to your personal goals for music and helping you get to where you want to be. Whether that's learning the basics or getting to grips with advanced techniques.

I can help you learn or improve on your guitar skills, guide you in learning how to play your favourite songs and give you valuable insight on writing songs for yourself.

I believe the heart of music is collaboration. I believe helping you get good at music means being a supportive guiding presence for you on this journey.

Love of knowledge comes first and foremost. If you feel excited about what you're learning, I'm doing my job. My role is to help you get to where you want to be, through the challenges of developing your skills, while helping you stay passionate about music and connected with why you want to do this on those tough days.
