I always provide my students with the layout of the course in the first class which has a complete description of the objective of the course is what are the expected learning outcomes once the module/s is/are finished. The outline also advises the students about the assessment format and how to prepare for the exam to score a desirable percentage. Usually for one subject, there are two classes in a week but that can be adjusted as per requirement or total duration of the course. I always focus my classes to maximize the comprehension of the course by dwelling upon real-world issues so students can relate their knowledge to the world around them, thus it's not just classroom study, it is a memorable learning experience that stays with the students for a long time to come.
While designing a course, I always keep in mind what kind of audience I am addressing and what could be the possible difficulties in getting my message across. So basically, I design an interactive learning campaign that is focused on generating knowledge and research capabilities. T the end of each course/module my students are able to demonstrate their knowledge of the subject in a meaningful and impactful manner and are able to handle basic, intermediate and complex problems related to the course with remarkable ease and convenience.
Therefore if you decide to take a course with me, you should know that you are in for a great learning experience to give a required boost to your career.
