I have two years of experience working as a tutor in an educational setting. During this time, I have successfully supported students of various age groups and learning styles. I am adept at adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs and helping students achieve their academic goals. As a University student myself I can relate to, and understand difficulties students face makes it easier to connect with students. I am highly organized and able to plan lessons effectively, ensuring that each session is productive and tailored to the student's specific needs. I value punctuality and strive to create a structured and efficient learning environment. I believe that interactive lessons are essential in keeping students concentrated throughout the lesson which in turn maximises their learning during the session. Generally my lessons involve explaining a particular topic through theory and examples, and then setting questions, increasing in difficulty, for the student to complete. At any point if the student is struggling I will first give hints, and if they continue to struggle I will guide them through the question. I also ask the student to complete specific questions for the next session on the topic learnt during the lesson. This will highlight any areas of weakness within the topic, therefore at the start of the next lesson we will be able to strengthen these areas.

My ability to connect with students on a personal level fosters a sense of trust and openness in the classroom. I strive to build strong relationships with my students by actively listening to their concerns, empathizing with their challenges, and celebrating their successes. By establishing this, I create a comfortable and supportive atmosphere that encourages students to actively participate, ask questions, and engage in meaningful discussions.

Importantly, I believe that when students enjoy their learning experience, they are more likely to be motivated, enthusiastic, and receptive to new knowledge.
