In my lessons, I strive to create an engaging and dynamic learning environment that caters to the unique needs of each student. The format I employ is both flexible and structured, allowing students to set their learning pace and objectives while ensuring a comprehensive coverage of the subject matter. With my background as Ph.D. student in Materials Science and two master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science, I bring a wealth of expertise to the table.
I teach math, chemistry, and materials science at the university level, imparting knowledge to both undergraduates and master's students. My university teaching experience has honed my skills in delivering in-depth academic content, while my 4 years of tutoring students aged from 5 years old have provided insights into effective teaching techniques for various age groups.
Growing up in France in a mixed Russian and French family has afforded me a diverse cultural perspective, which I bring into the classroom. I believe in a hands-on approach, encouraging students to actively participate and ask questions. This not only fosters a deeper understanding of the material but also promotes critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Whether I'm teaching young students or adults, in a classroom or in a pub, I adapt my teaching methods to suit their level of understanding and tailor the content to their specific needs.
