Hello!
For my lessons, I focus on what is most important for my students. The needs of each student vary: some learn languages for personal communication with foreign partners, while others need it for study or work.
I usually prepare a presentation for my classes, which includes reviewing previously learned information, a bit of theory (tables, infographics, etc.), and practical exercises.
I also use modern technologies such as flashcards, quizzes, interactive online games, and more. Sometimes I may ask a student to watch a video or listen to an audio recording. Communication with a teacher is great, but pre-recorded audio is more comfortable for practicing listening.
Are you struggling with pronunciation or grammar? Don't worry! As a linguist, I have a good understanding of many languages. I can look for something similar in your language to help you better understand what you need to do. I can also recommend exercises for practicing phonetics.
What about support? I can respond to your messages even outside of classes. I can even send you audio messages for you to re-listen and practice with.
And of course, I will make sure to help you overcome your fears and show you that making mistakes is a natural part of the learning process!
