Anastasia Hadjinicolaou

Hi! My name is Anastasia, I am 21 and in my penultimate year at the University of Warwick. I have had experience in both online and in-person tutoring, where all my students have been successful in their goals. The approach I have always taken to teaching is more relaxed and focuses more on the final goal than the panic over the little things. I have mostly taught children aged 9-15, yet I am not limited to this age group. If you are a parent, wanting your child to learn English as a second language, I can ultimately help them achieve this. I grew up in Cyprus, yet attended a British school, where advanced English was taught to us from a young age. I am confident that I can truly aid you, or your child, in achieving their goals and use English as a tool to reach their potential. The approach I have always taken seems to work very well with children in both primary and secondary school, where the students themselves do seem to enjoy the lessons, in turn encouraging them to attend the lessons, do their homework and practice English in a non-academic environment. Although my methods are not traditional in an educational sense, I am confident that through a more flexible, calm way, I can aid a student to learn English where they will be able to produce a cohesive piece of writing, have an eloquent conversation, and be able to not let their language barrier from stopping them develop.
