Throughout my academic path during my PhD and now PostDoc I have been teaching classes of students on a regular basis and marked weekly homework as an essential part of their undergraduate degree. In my tutorials, I adopt a student-centered approach, tailoring each session to the individual needs and learning styles of my students. I prioritize creating a comfortable and non-intimidating atmosphere, encouraging open communication and active participation. By identifying their strengths and weaknesses, I design comprehensive study plans that focus on enhancing their understanding of the subject matter. Maths is a challenging module and my aim is to make it approachable and even fun!

My teaching sessions are designed to be interactive and dynamic, utilising a combination practical examples and hands-on activities. I believe that active learning leads to better retention and comprehension. I break down complex concepts into simpler, more manageable parts, ensuring students grasp the fundamental principles before progressing to more advanced topics. Regular progress assessments help track their development and identify areas for improvement.
