Hi, I'm Ana! I've always had a love of languages and recently discovered that I also have a love of teaching and learning, which is what led me to FindTutors. In my free time, I love reading, listening to music, and writing (I'm an amateur writer on the side!)

My classes will not only take you through the basics of Japanese (including alphabet, writing and Japanese pitch accent) but they are also meant to give you the confidence to speak in a new language (which is arguably the hardest thing about learning a new language!)

I started learning Japanese around 7 years ago when I was in high school and became progressively more passionate about the language in university, and after going to Japan for my study abroad at Tohoku University which gave me the unique opportunity to go out of my comfort zone and engage with a wide variety of people that I wouldn't have met otherwise!
