I am an experienced English as a foreign language teacher. I teach all levels (from starter to advanced) helping students to develop their skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing. Also, I can help with specific needs to learn, improve or develop vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation besides helping to reduce other problems with the language.
I make use of a dynamic methodology which is student-centered with lots of practice. I am patient, have great rapport with my students, showing empathy and interest in their personal growth.
In these over 33 years, I have worked at 2 of the most important English language schools in Brazil. I have been a substitute professor at both public federal and state universities. Right now, I am a permanent professor of English language for high school and technological courses at a Federal Institution of Education, Science and Technology. I prepare for proficiency exams like TOEFL and FCE and have recently finished the Cambridge CELTA course with success.
I am in constant professional development by taking courses to make my teaching procedures even better and better serve my students by understanding their needs and make use of the appropriate method, technique or approach to apply.
