Amy Sexton

I hold a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and have worked as a translator translating from German and Spanish into English, with over a year's experience, so I live through my languages!

I also have experience teaching children how to play the piano, which I did for 2 years.

Aside from engaging with my languages, I love travelling, reading, music and cycling.

You will engage with all four skills through my classes: listening, speaking, writing and reading! I will help you to build your confidence, whether you are a beginner with no English or a learner with some existing skills. Using materials from songs and stories to pictures and role play, I will help you build your skills and give you the confidence to use English in your everyday life, whether you need it to talk to friends or to find a job! You'll enjoy themed lessons with varied activities tailored to your level, and you'll benefit from my experience of being a language learner myself.
