The great thing about tutoring is that there is no "one size fits all" approach! The first, and most important thing we'll establish in our first session together is your learning style. Perhaps worksheets may work best for you, and we can go through the answers together and go into more detail on things that you may be stuck on. Perhaps you may find a more informal approach useful, speaking to one another, me explaining certain concepts to you and then having you explain them back to me. Or perhaps you'd benefit from a mixture of both! Whatever your learning style and the approach to our lesson plans, you can guarantee that they will be engaging and fun (yes, learning can actually be fun... I promise). Progress will be assessed through short and informal assessments at the end of each learning topic, and if we feel something isn't quite solidified in your brain yet- we can revisit it until YOU feel confident.
I also have experience in supporting people who have ASD. I am motivated by my love of helping others, and my lessons are a no judgement zone.
If you have any questions or am wondering if I am a good fit for you, please feel free to leave me a message and I'll endeavour respond to you promptly.
I very much look forward to hearing from you!
