I like to firstly get to know my students and their strengths, weaknesses and learning styles. I will take this into account when planning my lessons which will be tailored to each individual student. We will work on building confidence in difficult elements of the subject as well as revisiting previous knowledge to ensure it is engrained in their memory. I have useful resources which the student can utilise to help with both learning a new concept and revision of the topic. I am very friendly and approachable; my students can be open to ask any questions they are unsure about and I will happily accommodate this into the lesson. We make use of practice questions, interactive activities and we will work on building answers together, paying close attention to the requirements of the exam board. I can share useful advice on how best to prepare for exams and how to effectively revise.
