I have been a primary school teacher for 5 years, teaching between Years 3-5 in that time. During my years of training, I also had experience in years 2, 6 and 7. I have had some phonics training as well.
I work in an outstanding school and take care to ensure all of my pupils work hard to reach their full potential. I am currently the lead teacher in Year 4 and therefore am in charge of intervention groups for pupils not yet working at age related expectations. These intervention groups involve reading, spelling, handwriting, grammar, times tables and arithmetic. When working with tube child, I would first focus on content covered in these intervention groups to see their understanding and level and build upon this.
I am also the music lead in my school, where we focus on singing, composing, ukulele and recorders. If music is an area you would like your child to work on as well, I have access to many resources and have had lots of training on teaching music to pupils. I am willing to travel to your home to teach for a small petrol fee (£5 extra) or can teach via zoom or microsoft teams. I can work weekends as I teach in school during the week or can do weekdays in half term. If you have more than one child you would like me to tutor, I would be more than happy to offer a deal in the price. I look forward to helping your child reach their potential.
