Lessons will typically last an hour, targeting Year 9 students and up, I have predominantly studied OCR History GCSE and A-Level content. Classes will be student-led, with comprehensive activities to aid students who learn in various ways. Activities will be tailored to the student, all implementing the skills necessary for improved grades, and all learnt from my teachers and school advisors during my time at secondary school. I spent my last two years of secondary education creating a history society service for struggling students and for those interested - dedicating hours of my free time to provide stimulating and comprehensive lessons to run during lunchtimes. I consistently value a student's interest and capabilities, knowing that giving 100% effort 24/7 is simply unachievable for many. I have experience with leading lectures, group work, and discussion throughout secondary school - and having recently experienced A-Level exams, I am in the unique position of having both valuable experience and the understanding that others may lack. My intention is to both tutor and act as a guiding source of comfort and safety during a student's most stressful period of education, always putting the student and their work first. I will lead with confidence and surety, to ensure that all students feel as at ease as possible. I will create a fun and engaging environment for students, valuing honesty and comfort for my students over all else, which I believe helps nurture and develop their academic and life skills, a process which I would be honoured to apart of.
