Hi! I'm Amy and I'm an ESL (English as a second language) and Spanish instructor. I'm from Scotland but I've lived most of my adult life in Ecuador. I studied Spanish at university but it was when I moved to South America as a missionary that I really started learning. It was in Ecuador that I also trained as an ESL teacher and gained valuable experience.
I like to make my lessons as interesting and engaging as possible, I like to use tools such as Kahoot! and Quizlet. I would say my strength as an ESL teacher is grammar, so if you're looking for clear explanations and examples for improving grammar then I'm your person! Because of my experience in South America and fluency in Spanish, I'm a particularly good option as an instructor for Spanish-speakers.
