In a lessons we will use a range of different methods depending on the subject. For example, if you are an adult learning English, there will be a range of speaking and listening exercises, as well as reading and writing. All lessons will include elements of retrieval to ensure that what is being taught in prior lessons is being retained.

If teaching young children, for example eight and below, it is recommended that these lessons take place face to face. This will ensure that lessons can be practical and engaging, including movement breaks and practical activities.

If you require math tutoring, we will work through a mastery approach. Additionally, we will look at model apply and challenge as a model for learning new concepts.

I have experience in preparing students for exams. For example, GCSEs sats and phonics screening.

This summer holiday I will have more availability to take on your students and unable to do block sessions.
