As a young person who writes everyday and that can range from articles, scripts, short stories, blogs (etc) I carry a huge passion and always try and find a way to improve it in any way and that is what I want to help others achieve. Whether that be one on one or with a selection of people, I want to help someone see that English and writing isn’t scary even if you may struggle. I am here to help you meet your goals in whatever you need help with for example an upcoming GCSE paper, mock exams and more! Teaching requires a lot of patience, understanding and knowledge of who each student is and how they work and I am certain that I can provide that for you and I will connect to you on a professional level to help bring your writing and English to life. I’ll work out your strengths and your weaknesses and fill in any gaps you’ve missed and work with you. I’ve always been the go too if anybody needed advice or assistance on how to improve their writing or advice on “what to do next” or the format of their piece and I have always been the tutor for siblings, friends and even my parents! I enjoyed the glory of seeing someone feel proud of what they have achieved and I wish to continue that with you guys!
I have more experience with working on GCSE questions and formatting/structuring writing but what I feel more eligible on is creative writing. Creative writing to me is where I can see writers bring out the best of their imagination and where most of your improvements stem from. No one is a bad writer or bad at English, sometimes it is about having that push and putting your all into it. Speaking from personal experience, I didn’t show any motivation for my writing through my GCSE period until the last minute but it actually turned out to be something I enjoyed, learnt from and bettered my education once I put pen to paper. Everyone has their own struggles, paths and abilities when it comes to writing, you just have to find your own style and before you know it you’ve gained skills you didn’t even know you could get.
