Hi, I'm Amy, and having just finished my A levels in biology, chemistry and French I am looking forward to doing a degree in neuroscience and French at Manchester. After succeeding at GCSEs, I loved helping my younger sister's friends do the same, creating bespoke plans to enable them to develop their skills and confidence in all of their subjects, in a fun and enthusiastic way. I would love to help you do the same, ensuring I listen to your needs and get to know you and your way of learning before helping you meet your goals and boost your confidence academically, whether that's using visual aids, acronyms and tricks to help you memorise, or just talking together and finding ways of you understanding the topic point!! As I have mentioned, the way I teach is entirely dependent on the way you learn, but no matter the person, I aim to be approachable and build a good relationship with you so you can ask me questions any time, in or out of the lesson time, as well as preparing some effective resources and lessons for your needs before each session. I also aim to check in with you frequently in the lesson to ensure you continually understand the content, and if not, adjust the way in which I am explaining information accordingly. Finally, I am a big believer that the best way to consecrate your knowledge is through practise and applying what you've learnt, so be prepared to apply what your knowledge in exam-style questions. Thank you for considering me and I look forward to meeting you!
