I studied art in Italy until high school, immersing myself in a culture rich with artistic heritage and inspiration. Growing up surrounded by iconic Renaissance and Baroque masterpieces, I developed a deep appreciation for both classical and contemporary art forms. This Italian foundation gave me a strong understanding of art history, traditional techniques, and an eye for detail, all of which became integral to my approach to art. After moving to the UK, I continued my studies, where I was able to expand my perspective, exploring modern and conceptual art forms while developing my own style. Studying in two different cultural contexts has enriched my artistic understanding and provided me with a unique blend of traditional skill and contemporary insight that I now bring to my teaching.
With a background in contemporary art and experience in achieving high academic standards, including an A* in A-level Art, I bring both expertise and passion to my teaching. My approach is centered around fostering a supportive, inspiring environment where students feel encouraged to explore their creativity and think critically about art. I emphasize key qualities like patience, adaptability, and a deep understanding of both technique and theory, allowing me to tailor lessons to each student’s unique needs and learning style. My teaching methods combine interactive discussions, hands-on activities, and visual analysis, guiding students to interpret and create with confidence. By blending practical skills with conceptual exploration, I help students develop both their technical abilities and personal artistic voices.
