I’am a 19 year old second year sociology student studying in Warwick university. My aim is to make lessons enjoyable as that is the key to absorbing knowledge. Lessons don’t have to be stressful and uninteresting, by using my fun presentation skills and applying it to the everyday modern day world I aim to increase the interests of my students and help them feel more comfortable in their own skills and talents.
Furthermore, essay skills are the most important factor is sociology to make sure you get top marks so we will build and work a lot on that by applying theories and creating your own interpretations on that.
Sociology is very content heavy so it’s important we find a strategic and logical way to make sure you absorb the knowledge. We will use a methodical process which helped me in my GCSE’S to get an A.
My students wellbeing is the most important thing to me so I aim to make them as comfortable as possible so they understand they can talk to me about their issues in sociology and what they prefer to work on more/ less. I always take into account their feelings and thoughts when planning my lessons so they feel heard and seen.
