I have been involved in a few teaching classes as a teaching assistant which makes it easier for me to navigate lessons and tailor them to students needs. All students work and process information differently so i would use the first session to figure hour how to take on classes with the particular client and then proceed to make future lessons easiest for them.
We would go through worksheets i would make depending on the student, writing techniques, and different ways on being able to communicate. The basics would be covered first and then we would move forward depending on the pace of the lessons and how quickly the student is progressing.
