Maths isn’t always the most interesting subject to learn but a lot of the time that’s because you find yourself looking at a detailed question and the underlying concept hasn’t been taught properly. With my lessons and tutoring sessions I aim to help students tackle challenging concepts of mathematics and make them more enjoyable. For me maths has made me struggle as some areas can be really challenging and in school lessons the teacher doesn’t teach it well enough but I promise to deliver my lessons in the best way possible to help everyone appreciate maths the way my maths tutor made me! My teaching technique will revolve around the use of online materials which I think is an interactive way of communicating with my students. Additionally, I have had 2 years of experience mentoring students when I was in secondary school. The thing about tutoring is every person you tutor has strengths and weakness both with concepts and how they take in information. Having mentored for 2 years has made me develop the skill of adaptability when it comes to my teaching style allowing me to tailor it to assist the student I’m mentoring in the best way possible
