Teaching style will be catered to students preference as well as exam format. My aim is to make the student feel comfortable as possible and not feel shy about asking questions during the lesson.

The lesson style will dependent on the content that is being taught. I aim to make the student understand concepts by starting the lesson by explaining to the student why this concept is important. We will start with a little test to see how much you know at the start and then based on this will focus on the areas that need to be improved. This can include directly asking the student questions, multiple choice questions or a short thought experiment.

Then I will go through the concept using a powerpoint presentation or using an online whiteboard. We will follow with exam past paper or practice questions to ensure the student has grasped the concept. These resources will be concise, short and to the point and be available for the student to keep.

At the end of the lesson, I will summarise the key points of the lesson and then follow with another mini test to see how much you have progressed. Based on the students progress, I will give them short exercises/ past paper questions for them to complete before the next lesson. The next lesson will begin with reviewing these questions and answering any queries on them. Moreover, I will also share my techniques of memorisation that are key and essential for exam success.
