I like to be interactive with students and let conversation flow, exploring new grammar and vocabulary as we get there. I find the use of textbooks and exercise books alongside tutoring very helpful, without leaving the student to get on with it on their own. I try and keep a structure to my lessons with a logical sequence from one rule or subject matter to the next. Allowing the language to naturally tie in helps students link rules and ideas together, without sitting staring at books the whole time.
I have spent time teaching language in Switzerland for a year and for 2 weeks in Romania. I am an avid linguist, currently working as a translator in all fields. I have a TEFL module from university and am a natural teacher with a passion for language!
