I am an experienced teacher who has worked with many different age groups across both primary and secondary. I am available for English as a second language tutoring as well as English and Maths at Primary level and PE at GCSE/A Level.

So, what does a lesson look like with Miss Green? I am very 'hands on' and like to learn through real life examples as much as possible. I will try to get you thinking outside the box and use examples that you will be able to make connections with when trying to understand different concepts. Another important part of my teaching is practice, with lots of practice, I believe that learning in any subjects becomes easy. Therefore, we will spend an extended amount of time practicing different type of questions to enhance your understanding. Finally, I will teach you how to break things down into very simple concepts and build up to the bigger, more difficult concepts you are finding hard to understand. If revising for an exam, I will teach you ways to remember content through a variety of different strategies such as picture/word association, stories, look/say/cover/write/check method, and most importantly exam technique. It is important to study exam questions and know how to answer them - what are the mark schemes looking for? What trigger words can you see? We will practice and practice so that the exam you are taking becomes a piece of cake! Most of all, I will make your learning experience fun and school will become easier as a result!
