I would like to offer my lessons online, over teams or google meets, we can discuss what works best for you! I find that the best to what to not only explain science but to also understand the concepts is through drawings and diagrams, this is the way I was personally taught at school and I would also carry this through my lessons. This method I believe to be more interactive than just reading a textbook. Once we have covered any problem topic areas a student may want help with we could move on to exam style questions. This will help consolidate the learning that we have covered. Once I get to learn a student better we can work together to tweak this format to find something that is perfect for them, everyone needs something a little different from a tutor and I want to offer the best experience I can. Ideally if my student could inform me of the topic they wish to go over at least 24 hours before our lesson this would give me time to prepare my lesson and pull together the best resources and questions so that during the lesson we can get stuck in and make the most of our time together. I can understand that it is important to find someone that you feel comfortable working with, so I would be happy to organise a get to know eachother session before we try our first lesson to eliminate any fears you have working with a new person.
