I'm a friendly and relaxed tutor. I am highly adaptable and have laser focus when it comes to helping students with problem areas. I have years of private tutoring experience and have taught English abroad at Kobe University through the prestigious Oxbridge Summer Camps Abroad scheme. I also have experience assisting students with preparation for Oxford interviews and am happy to set up mock interviews to help them hone their technique.
My lessons are active and engaging: I don't believe in speaking at students. I want all my students to engage in my lessons and to help them grow their confidence. I am living proof that learning another language expands your creativity, helps your memory and increases your mental sharpness. Learning foreign languages is a vital skill to help us understand other cultures and I would be honoured to help you hone your French and/or German!
My motto is 'have a go'. I will always encourage my students to trust their instincts and try speaking in French and/or German, however scary it may seem. I am incredibly non-judgmental and understand what it's like to learn a language. We all have to start somewhere!
